P.I.T - Pronunciation Improvement for Teachers
This face-to-face course aims at helping teachers of English to improve the quality of their pronunciation. It is a 2-module course to be given over 20 weekly meeting of 90 minutes each. Module 1 is a prerequisite to Module 2, and 90% attendance is demanded from participants. Certificates of participation will be issued only to those who have the above attendance.

Course Participants & Prerequisites
This course is designed for B2 (or above) non-native language teachers (NNLTs) who have had little or no formal instruction in the area, and no regular learner is accepted on the course. Groups will be formed by 07 – 12 teachers, and there will be two official feedback moments. Its objective is to help them improve the production of basic sounds, understand certain patterns and avoid common pronunciation traps. The FCE certificate is desirable, and an interview with the tutor may be necessary (usually via Skype or Google Hangouts). However, there are other requirements for the course. Participants are also asked to:
make sure they can attend at least 90% of all 20 sessions;
dedicate an average of 3 hours a week;
All course materials are provided by GTP.
Fees and Discount Policy
Course Fee for Brazilian teachers: (payable in installments via Pagseguro)

> Early Bird discounts (Brazilians only):
1. This fee will remain the same for the subsequent module for those who finish PIT1.
2. In case a group is not formed, 100% of the investment will be returned to the teacher.
3. Teachers will get 10% extra discount for each participant they refer to the course (for the time they
are actively enrolled, and to a top limit of 90% discount).
4. Closed groups (minimum of 08 participants) also count on an extra discount.
